One of the companies we’ve been following here at damTRENDS is Nuxeo, an open-source ECM developer based in Paris. Nuxeo is pretty blunt about their strategy: “to be a disruptive force and instigate change to today’s software industry inefficient practices.” Let’s start off today with a brief press release about some new software that will integrate [...] Earlier today we reported on the release of a new version of digital asset management software from ADAM in Belgium. Now comes word that Nuxeo, based in Paris, has released their own DAM software, based on their open-source ECM offering. What a coincidence! Two announcements in the same day from the same country! I mean, [...] Nuxeo, which bills itself (see their news, below) as “the Open Source Enterprise Content Management company,” and pledges to be “a disruptive force and instigate change,” released their Document Management 5.3 version today. For only $1,799 (if you act NOW! and almost 2 grand if you wait) you can buy this new study from Basex that purports to cover 32 content management system vendors and 43 platforms.
